The Centre of Excellence in Renewable Energy at the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Kolkata, is dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and education in the field of renewable energy. With the growing global emphasis on sustainable energy solutions, the centre aims to address the pressing challenges of energy consumption and environmental sustainability. Centre of Excellence in Renewable Energy focuses on conducting in-depth studies and research on systems related to renewable energy, along with relevant products and technologies. The main objectives of this COE RE are Research and Development means to conduct comprehensive studies on renewable energy systems, technologies, and products. Next is Collaboration i.e. to work with industry, academia, and research institutes to address various challenges and develop innovative solutions for real-life applications. Lastly, Knowledge Dissemination, means to promote the sharing of knowledge and foster a culture of continuous learning, empowering individuals and organizations to make informed decisions and contribute to a greener India. By focusing on innovative solutions, the centre aspires to contribute significantly to the transition towards a sustainable energy future.
